Sentosa Sights & Attractions

Promenade along the beachfront, sip cocktails at a beachside bar, relax in the shade under a beach umbrella, join a game of beach volleyball, explore the island on a bike and meet some Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins at the Dolphin Lagoon.

Sentosa Island is also home to a wide range of flora and fauna including monitor lizards, monkeys, peacocks and parrots.

Take a stroll along the elevated boardwalk through Imbiah Forest and try to spot long-tailed macaques, squirrels, geckos and some of the 20 species of birds that inhabit this secondary rainforest, which covers almost 70 per cent of the island.

Or sample some of the many attractions Sentosa has to offer, including Underwater World, Butterfly Park, Fort Siloso, CineBlast and the four-dimensional theatre at Sentosa’s 4D Magix.

Underwater World

Examine starfish and sea cucumbers at the touch-pool or ride the moving walkway through the 100m-long acrylic tunnel with views of sharks, stingrays, moray eels, turtles and shoals of coloured reef fish.

Check out the so-called Deadly Corridor, home to electric eels, piranha and stonefish and try either the 'Dive-with-the-Sharks' or 'Dive-with-the-Dugong’ programs – no previous scuba diving experience is necessary.

The Underwater World complex also includes some Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins, which are also known as ‘pink dolphins’. Here, you can enter the waist-deep pool and interact with the dolphins in daily ‘Meet the Dolphins’ sessions or take part in the more extensive ‘Swim with the Dolphins' program (photo).

Fort Siloso

Visit the fort that guarded Singapore's western approaches from the sea from the 1880s until 1956, but was proved obsolete in 1942 when Japanese forces invaded Singapore from Malaysia.

Explore the 4ha of gun emplacements, tunnels and former ammunition bunkers and barracks and reflect on the collection of period photographs, documents and historical film clips from this tragic era in Singapore’s history.

Universal Studios Singapore

Experience thrilling rides, shows and attractions based on blockbuster films and television series at the Universal Studios Singapore theme park.

Don't miss Waterworld (photo), Transformers The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, Shrek 4-D Adventure, Madagascar: A Crate Adventure, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure and much more!

Sentosa Golf Club

Tee-off on the splendid Serapong and Tanjong courses, twin 18-hole championship golf courses nestled in a lush tropical landscaped setting on the east side of Sentosa Island.

The club is fully equipped with buggy facilities, chipping and putting greens and a range of facilities including a luxurious clubhouse, pro-shop, bars and restaurants.

The club is also home to the richest annual golf tournament on the Asian Tour – The Barclays Singapore Open – with more than AU$5 million in total prize money.

Other attractions, aimed mainly at children, include…
